Elizabeth Allison is our featured June artist. She lives and works in New York. Allison creates large-scale, immersive works in which she focuses on absence, erasure, decay and renewal. In her watercolor series, Allison uses the the viscosity and transparency of the paint to create hazy, dreamy scenes. Her bleak, layered landscapes are complimented by bold colors and streaks of water, tempting viewers to lose themselves in the melancholy atmosphere of her world. Allison is represented by Bertrand Delacroix Gallery in New York.
